Einaudi writes some really nice music I think.

For me, the best track of their relatively brief psychedelic phase.

Yep, this is obscure enough that I thought it might be a pretty current cut from Kasabian.  Perhaps this tune was not so obscure to Kasabian as they created their "sound" during our current creative epoch of "copyist revisionism."

For someone of my generation....  no competition

And love those clanging jail doors at the start...
Great non-lp single from the Stones. Brian Jones on mellotron.

Not too bad, but I was glad when the Stones stopped trying to imitate the Beatles and got back to being the Stones.

I just listened to this album again for the first time in about 15 years.  All the way through.  Without interruption.

Still sucks.
Charly's drumming makes me smile -
soooo simple, bad and "good"
Very cool - novel to hear something I've actually NEVER heard from The Stones!

Einaudi or Stewart?

Mix into this from Einaudi was smooooooooooooooooooth.
THANK YOU for providing a break in all the morning weepy, sad music. WE WANNA DANCE!
perfect to follow einaudi.......it's all too much

Don't hear this one around much anymore.

Fun tune.

Amen Brother! I think I've played Hayseed Richards' Isolated Livers Group Quintet less than 3 times all the way through since I bought the damn thing all those years ago...

Fantastic, starting off the day with something I've never heard before in my life. Especially, being as it is probably 40 or so years old.

You are possibly one who greets with one hand in pocket,
in a situation like shown on that photo.

NO!

Can't happen to you - neither do you own a suit,
nor do you need one!
I looooooooove this.
THAT IS EXACTLY (!!!!) WHY KEITH WEARS THAT BRACELET!
Check him out - he wears it at all times. EVER SINCE!!!!
40 years now...?

The irony of course is that Lennon and McCartney are singing the backing vocals. The other irony is that the Stones' first hit record was Lennon/McCartney's "I Wanna Be Your Man." It sounded nothing like the Beatles' later version, but wasn't that the point?

Actually its the flip side of the 45 of "Dandelion".

One of my favorites from that era, earlier comments notwithstanding.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that this was not a serious number, but a piss take of the Beatle's 'All you need is love".

No, it was not on Satanic Majesty's Request.  Apparently it was released as a single.  Maybe the B side of She Comes in Colors.

A bit different from the Stones mainstream stuff. I like it.
"BUT I GOT A KRISTL BOL!", he said
An' held it to the light
So I snatched it
All away from him
An' I showed him how to do it right -

nagu Zappa ütles.

no, no, no
Strange, and very interesting. Thanks to RP for playing this and other obscure Stones numbers, which have changed my views on them significantly. This is very Beatles-esque to be sure, but has psychedelic elements and I do like the sound effects. 7 from the intrigued Nottingham jury.

Yup...someone's got a George Harrison Beatles fixation for sure.

It got a bit better as it went along. My rating changed from 4, to 5, to 6 (where it stayed).
