Just saw him a few weeks ago at Whitewater Amp in New Braunfels Texas.......didn't know what to expect but was STUNNED how great it was!  TIGHT band and his voice was fantastic......and I won't even qualify it with "for a 73 year old".......amazing!!

I too have seen John live.  He gets into it and obviously enjoys the stage.  I was never much of a fan until after I saw him live.

Um, about that killing spree - could you maybe direct it at Congress? And maybe not kill them but paintball the hell out of them? That might satisfy your urge to do damage.

Saw/heard John play live last month - the man still plays a mean guitar, his voice sounds fabulous and damn, he still looks boyish in his plaid shirt.  I read that he finally came full circle with the old CCR songs which he once refused to play - by the sounds of his live shows, he is a happy man and is loving what he does.  Lucky for me and other fans who recognize his worth.  John, keep rockin!

This tune could easily be forgotten on the album, but it really is a gem. Thanks for reminding it Radio Paradise. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see John on tour here in Helsinki last May. But watching him from front row in 2005 made me wonder: Could he be the hardest working man in rock music nowadays?

Nice timing for this. Caught parts of him pushing this tour on Soundstage on the tube last night; wow - oh - wow did it smell. I'm a huge fan of old CCR but his rehashes were just painfully forced and creepy cheesy.
