Mashups like this are ~not~ for me. If a negative score was possible I would use it.

Agree. Please play the original.
Well, interesting but I still stick to the original.
You can have a look with this request on YT : Delibes: Lakmé - Duo des fleurs (Flower Duet), Sabine Devieilhe & Marianne Crebassa

This is what (I assume) watching a British Air commercial on acid would be like.

I remember that British Airways used "the original" in an 80's television ad.

This is the very famous duet from the Pearl Fishers by Bizet slowed down, with a little synth and percussion added. It's not particularly the worse for wear, but the original didn't need much help.
And I have heard the original music on a commercial somewhere.

sorry, this is sacrilage
Not to be confused with the A-Tribe, who were far more successful in the commercial music business...
Quite pretty...decent, though I recall when the Arizona Opera did this about 10 years ago, I enjoyed it much more. And the elctronica definitely doesn't help.
Does anybody know, is the original duet the music they used in "The Shawshank Redemption" when Andy played music over the PA system?
The introduction sounded like Yanni at the Acropolis...
The sublime "Flower Duet" from Delibes' Lakmé isn't helped by electronic manipulation. To experience the joy of one of the most beautiful duets ever written, listen to it as it was intended to be heard.
or
If you prefer an orchestral version:

Thank you! I was trying to place it! The original is ethereal, but I enjoyed this version very much!

... I really enjoy different interpretations of a tune, this is just the difference that makes all the difference! ... Thanx! ...
B-Tribe have some really lovely pieces, intricate and fulfilling electronic music. I just don't think this is one of their strongest numbers.

interesting...new
i guess this is nice. can't help but feel like i'd rather just hear the flower duet unadulterated.
Why can't we have a non-electronica version? Sorry to be such a stick in the mud but I don't like it.
