Oh boy can I identify with THAT line.  I suspect anyone who lives long enough will agree, too.  And having gotten what I wanted a few times along the way all I can say is these days I enjoy simplicity.  I take each day for what it gives me in open and honest appreciation.  I'm not asking for anything more.  Which......of course....leads to how long before I can't stand it?  Heh!

I love this song, but I keep hearing the bass that enters after the first chorus as playing a "wrong" note on the lower chords. It's hard to put my finger on it, but I find it's most prominent on the "so _just_ give up".

Saw the movie in a near empty theatre during the day. Playing hooky I think. Shocking in so many ways. I think I went through every emotion with that one. So powerful and heavy, one can only watch it every once in a while.

No doubt. Incredible movie with awesome performances, a great swan song for the late great Jason Robards, and Ms. Mann's elegiac (always wanted to use that word in a sentence), soaring soundtrack fits the whole film like a glove. Wonderful stuff.

Um, yes, it's a beautiful song. A note to all you out there, however: don't listen to this album on heavy rotation when you're really depressed and lonely at college, dealing with unrequited love (not to mention a total and complete A-hole{#Evil}—I have never met anyone so cruel and doubt  I ever will again) because you don't have enough self-esteem to realize the hell you're putting yourself through.
