Stone cold in this warm bed again
Wide awake and waiting for them
I send my shadow running on ahead again
I wait and wait and.......
I'm waving in my beautiful friends over there on the end of the
The bright light the bright light begins it
The grass is high and the sky is low tonight
I wanna be here i wanna be gone
And this time i won't cry i won't
I'm waving in my beautiful friends over there on the end of the
The bright light the bright light begins it and i get sucked into it again
Wild and high on the summer wind
I'm in for a love so tough i could break my teeth if i bit down hard upon it
And a voice so rich just the sound of it is forever nauseating
And i get sucked into it again
Wild and high on the summer wind
Wide awake and waiting for them
I send my shadow running on ahead again
I wait and wait and.......

true dat! if there's a better example of this artist I would suggest playing it instead of this one.
Sounds like any other crappy pop song. Overproduced junk.

I haven’t seen ratings this low and comments this bad since bo Derek put out her second movie after Ten.
Terrible.... just terrible
noise, noise, noise....please stop.
Really lacks Essence....it does sound like some emerging pop whose music was completely contrived to sell to 12 year olds. Really poor - would expect much better from her. ....pass the bubble gum!

the thing is, this sounds exactly like 1997. For it's time it was the normal thing that you would hear.
This song is a laughably bad as that album cover. Sounds like the damn Mini-pops.

I love this song because it's like a continuation of Belly. It was her first solo album since Belly broke up.
Bill, Bill, Bill. What were you thinking?

Why so many tiedous comment? I'd never heard before but this song is excellent!

Great track, excellent album continuing on the great songs she wrote for Throwing Muses with her half sister Kristen!! Talented family!!
Her voice is really grating my nerves. The album graphics are awful and the title is even worse. The low rating was predictable.
Not sure about the song, but it wins the award for mathematics as a very interesting frequency distribution of listener ratings. I suspect the RP listeners are cheating on the likability test...Hmmm.

In parts of this song I hear the chords to "Dreaming Is Free" by Blondie.
hmmm - sure do - in the theremin-ish background vocals.
Okay I can usually respect RP'd decision to play music I don't like, but this is crossing the line. Come on guys, this is BRUTAL.

Hmmmmm... I never liked Benatar. Was'nt she the one that should have had her teeth chiseled down?
It's always a good idea to judge a musician on his/her physical appearance.
I love Pat Benatar's music. I'm also very partial to Tonya's.

Eck. Pat Benatar with even less talent, if that's possible.

A little disappointing...
I live in Newport, RI, so I guess I pay more attention to the Muses/Belly solo albums than most, and this seems tame, too easily digestable for Tanya...How could this be the same woman who wrote \"See through skin...the kind of skin you can see through\" and sang it as if everyone knew what she meant...brilliant...this song sounds like she grew up and lost that sense of whimsy.
Belly, Belly, Belly!!!
I LOOOOVE Tanya Donelly.
She\'s one of the sexiest women on the planet.
this is good, the first time i\'ve enjoyed listening to her since the song she did Judy Staring at the Sun with Catherine Wheel
I know she's more popular than Kristin Hersh, but i don't hold that against her...Tanya's really good.
and i did that sound (what is that? a theramin?) in the background.
