2001: Walking late at night in Puerto Vallarta and hearing this gypsy jazz wafting from the River Cafe. This is an eternal memory that forever defined a Mexican refugee from a Winnipeg Winter.
EXCELLENT!! Thanx RP!
Oct 29, 2020. Wicked set of consecutive tunes B and R.
Easing into Thursday RP style.
Bless up!

Bill just played the wrong wrap up, intro clip.
I was curious to hear the Beat Farmers
I was curious to hear the Beat Farmers
That you are moving on the back-roads by the rivers of my memory
And for hours you're just gentle on my mind
And for hours you're just gentle on my mind

Yep, saw them on what I'm sure was their first retirement tour. Played this one too.
Fantastic. I love these guys. From what I've read here in the comments from those lucky enough to have seen them - they put on quite a show. I have no doubt. Aces!

The mood and feel is like Penguin Café Orchestra. I prefer PCO who are more laid back and maybe boring for some!
Sounds a lot like Penguin Café Orchestra.

Good sunday morning tune
nice, nice song...
"Yo y Bobby McGee"
Most excellent tune.
Sounds a lot like Penguin Café Orchestra.
I have 3 CDs from Willie and Lobo. While I basically like them very much, I found their CDs to be a bit uneven, with the exception of Fandango Nights which I'd highly recommend.
Haven't hear the new one, Manana, which this song is from.
Not the kind of music I usually gravitate towards, but I like this! Clean crisp sound and nice ensemble.

Nice change of pace, and completey undistruptive. Easy to listen to, relaxing and energizing all at once.
