Your love won't show in anything at all
If all you do is talk
Sadly I remain in need
Of all the things you say but leave in speak
All you do is talk
Help yourself, don't think
Help yourself, don't speak
Help yourself, don't say a thing at all
You're lucky, words don't bleed
You time the end of all we see
You say we're on our way and all will be
Alone in everything
You say it's all we'll ever need
You've found an easy way but still you weep
Alone in everything
Help yourself, don't think
Help yourself, don't speak
Help yourself, don't say a thing at all
You're lucky, words don't bleed
Help yourself, don't say a thing
What love you show won't mean a thing at all
If all you do is talk
Sadly we remain to see
What brings an end is also what we need
All you do is talk
Help yourself, don't think
Help yourself, don't speak
Help yourself, don't say a thing at all
You're lucky, words don't bleed
Does this song just randomly fade out with about a minute to go? That's twice now it's done that. It fades out but the RP carrier signal is still active.
Did it again just now - 6 months later? Needs attention William, please.
BRMC are too cool for school
All those things and more!
Yes, just did it again.
Bill?
I think he meant William

Bill must really like this band. He plays them 15 times a day
Isn't life great!?!
Such songs deserve to be heard on real speakers with sufficient boomers in order to be fully appreciated.
Ok, Boomers!

Good tune though.
U2 are mistaken my friend.
Very much appreciated. Those touches add a lot to the programming. That and the excellent music!
He just did it again 1 year later~ Haha....
No, it is a 2.
rock song??? this is just plain pop
Similar influences creating their music; some of which may have worked down to Robert and Peter? Who knows.
Wall of sound and total lift from Twilley.
Dwight Twilley - there's a name I haven't heard or read in about thirty years. I'd be surprised if these guys ever even heard of him. You never know.

That's funny, and I can understand all the "derivative' comments. The first time I heard this I thought it was a rip off of My Morning Jacket's "The Way That He Sings", but it's grown on me.

My banana still waggles, Liz.
(And why aren't the icons working, how does one add an annoying, attention- seeking waggling banana if the icon screen permanently freezes?)

Poor O'Riley has to spend his days behind a desk.
Oh my - what to expect from this poor soul?
PS
Heard that "Forest" is making it back to the PL. Football is certainly something
you know more about, Fred-brat. Leave music for the knowledgable big boys (like me).
hehehe...
Things that make you go hmmm ...
If you ever get the chance to see them perform live, do. They are very compelling in a live setting.

B.R.M.C. had 2 full albums out before the Killers released their first album in 2004. . . I doubt seriously if B.R.M.C. are in need of any inspiration from Brandon Flowers et al. . .
You can doubt all you want, but this song bears more than a passing resemblance to All These Things That I've Done.
Fred,
Tamsulosin (San) is your friend.

The Baby 81 incident was a widely-reported parental identity dispute about a baby, later identified as Abhilasha Jeyarajah, who survived the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and became an emblem of the effect of the disaster on the families involved.

Yeah, but. "81" is code in the biker world for "Hells Angels" (they have a patch for it too). Wiki says "Red and white are also used to display the number 81 on many patches, as in "Support 81, Route 81". The 8 and 1 stand for the respective positions in the alphabet of H and A. These are used by friends and supporters of the club, as only full members can wear any Hells Angels imagery."
This fits into the mileau of them being a rebellious motorcycle club, but a "baby" one, as in being aspirational. Interesting that they also have a "1%" patch, meaning 99% are law-abiding, but 1% are not." Another view of the 1% - 99% dichotomy. It would be interesting to hear what actual members of BRMC say about the Baby 81 meaning. I guess I could google it.
reminds me of some very old Vanilla Fudge
No, not U2 — the Killers.

Right now, my favorite lyric is "You're lucky words don't bleed". Ouch.
But for the all song 8
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - All You Do Is Talk
Ane Brun - To Let Myself Go
Now that's spooky - Just before tuning to RP I was just listening to the same two songs (in the same order!) from my iTunes library
Bill, what have you done?
Just a hunch, but I'd say yer cribbing Bill's playlists in iTunes ...
And again today.

Bill, what have you done?
? One starts with an organ, the other with a guitar. Two different cord progressions. I guess they're both "echoy" but that's about all I see....
