As making someone angry clearly isn't part of the scope I'm in, I have to excuse myself for making someone angry; well knowing deep inside, some folks want to be angry all the time and they just can't resist from it (...and God is on their side).

New leadership. Has no idea what mistakes were made fifteen-twenty years ago, because they were still in college then. Took me into a room today and told me that they were taking the whole thing apart to create a DMV-like experience - because that's what people want. It's what we had in the past, and was so expensive and disliked that it had to be taken apart.
My team will have to learn new skills, be deployed elsewhere. Quality will become haphazard. Costs will go up - we're taking order and creating chaos.
Fortunately, I can retire in two years - which is about how long it will take for this to all play out... My project will be dismantled as I head for the rocking chair.
Now. Do the competitors want my knowledge if these folks don't?.... can you say no? and keep the team together? are there any laws preventing you? just curious my job is somewhat similar clowns bureaucrats on top with a lot of power that don't know what they're doing

People want what??? Do you need the competitors or can you go it alone? Don't forget the client list.

The fact that the statehouse here is filled with complete idiots who have bankrupted the state, destroyed public education, think women belong in the kitchen, bare-foot and pregnant, believe that getting a religious monument returned to the capital grounds is the most pressing issue of the day and are now seeking to allow anyone to openly carry a firearm with no permit or training in a state with virtually no mental health care funding.
