Shameless shilling of local label: It's Bandcamp Friday - the best day & best way to support your favorite artists! As always, Bandcamp is waiving the revenue share on all sales so it goes straight to artists, and Merge is doing the same. mergerecords.bandcamp.com is the place to be.
Quite a stack there. I'm familiar with several. Endless amazing band names. Neutral Milk Hotel? Ex Hex? Not to mention Butterglory and The Gothic Archies. On and on...

rhahl, your post with a table (?) is "breaking" the board... pushing things around so that half the posts are obscured. Can you fix/delete that one? Too bad about the acquisition but I always try to use "Bandcamp Friday" when they don't take even their usual 15% cut. We have Apple Music but that doesn't pay well (better than Spotify, I'm told) but if we want to support a band by buying music, we buy it from Bandcamp.

Epic Games begins to show it’s “more than games,” acquires Bandcamp At some point, Epic Games might need to drop the word "Games" from its moniker and admit what kind of company it wants to be. Today the game maker moved to acquire Bandcamp, an online music-streaming service that revolves around DRM-free purchases of MP3s, FLACs, and other audio files. The news emerged via press releases from both Bandcamp and Epic on Wednesday. As of press time, neither side of the deal has clarified its financial terms.
Looks like musician's income is about to go down some more.

I believe bandcamp.com is one of the fairest brokers for new and established music artitsts. I wonder why on submissions this channel is missing. According to artist friends this is one of the preferred ways to make ( a small bit) of money from creating music and imho should be endorsed ( a bit ) by radioparadise.
What do you think?
Any artist or listener or yourself can submit a song into the listener review channel, many songs can be reviewed that way. Encourage people at Bandcamp to put their stuff up
