Falling on my head like a memory
Falling on my head like a new emotion
I want to walk in the open wind
I want to talk like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you
So baby talk to me
Like lovers do
Walk with me
Like lovers do
Talk to me
Like lovers do
Here comes the rain again
Raining in my head like a tragedy
Tearing me apart like a new emotion
Oooooh
I want to breathe in the open wind
I want to kiss like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you
So baby talk to me
Like lovers do
Here comes the rain again
Falling on my head like a memory
Falling on my head like a new emotion
(Here is comes again, here it comes again)
I want to walk in the open wind
I want to talk like lovers do
I want dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you
I really enjoyed reading this post because you address common questions that many similar posts ignore. I bookmarked this page immediately after noticing that you avoid unnecessary jargon and focus on what actually matters. I have been browsing similar topics all week and the writing feels honest, balanced, and well researched. That balance between depth and readability is hard to pull off, and you did it well. The writing style is welcoming, which makes a technical topic feel approachable. I appreciate the time and care that clearly went into this. 신용카드현금화 https://creditcardcashing.imweb.me/
The way you organized these ideas makes it easy to see why the examples feel realistic and easy to apply in everyday situations. This article stood out to me since you connect theory with real-world context in a helpful way. This kind of practical guidance is exactly what it is clear you put real effort into making this accessible. I could tell the author actually uses or understands the topic in practice. 강남 하퍼 https://hyperblick.isweb.co.kr/ I needed something I could forward to a client, and you explain dependencies between steps. A cautionary note explained that you give realistic time estimates. I liked how complete it felt.
I had low expectations going in, but the post feels edited with care. Well organized. 강남 텐카페 https://tencafetenpro.clickn.co.kr/
Bill, Rebecca, where art thou?!
1.5 absolutely fucking awful. Where's David Stewart to fix this mess?
Playing the guitar on this track, moron.
I love The Eurythmics but it looks like I am in the tiny minority who think this does not suit an accoustic version. Always thought Lennox's voice needed the hefty Eurythmics production to balance out her strident vocals.
I'm with you in that minority.
Could anyone please tell me where I can buy/download this song? Thx.
The cover shows the album it's on (VH1 Storytellers). A great compilation album, not sure if it's still available, though.
Me too!
Break through? Joking right? I think you'll find that Ms Lennox has indeed been around some time now and doing a pretty good job at it.
please,

Annie Lennox could sing the phone book and it would be awesome.
I Agree!!
This girl is going places! If only radio station with many listeners could pick up on her latest album, she may just have her break through!

After hearing it again, I put it at a 10 where it belongs.
Annie Lennox could sing the phone book and it would be pathetic junk.
She can break a heart with that voice for sure. Oh how I love the rain, and love this song! Isn't it amazing how some absolutely LOVE the rain while many of their friends HATE it?

Early sixties-folk music
To my mind it's one of those perfect songs to have running thru your head if you're happily blind and head over heels; regardless of if it's the very first time you've have ever truly felt that way or giving it a shot yet one more time, committing yourself in battle-scarred veteran style to the possibility that this time, with this person, it may truly be the experience you have sought your entire life.
A true discovery of Love.
For each of us it is different. For each of us it is unique. Yet for all that for each of us it is always the same; defined by a willingness to take that leap of faith. Regardless of the outcome I say good luck with it; for it certainly can make life sweet can't it? And it certainly makes life worth the effort.

...Some songs are just not meant to be "acoustic" or they would have been recorded that way to begin with. That being said, the original is one of my favorite Eurythmics tunes!
That is not always true, though it's likely the case for this song. The era when the song was composed would determine how it would ultimately have been recorded and released. Pretty much no one could release a song with just acoustic guitar and vocals in 1983 (or almost any time) and expect it to get very much airplay.

If you ever have the (mis)fortune to hear Annie Lennox singing a song not written for her then you will hear that clearly - weak low and high notes but full blast on a few mid-range notes that she can hit really well.
British people place her as one of our female singing legends. Well she is a nice person with a powerful voice - but in my opinion she is not a 'great' singer for the reasons I have explained.
And before you jump in to comment, I know you don't have to have a great voice to be a great artist (Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Neil Young, Eddie Vedder etc etc) but she is a singer first and foremost, not a singer-songwriter, and as such she should be judged primarily on her singing ability.
This is the most stupid comment I've ever heard... hum... read here !

The entire album Medusa stands in stark contradiction to your post.

Everything ok? I was dependent on the stream variety during a work gauntlet... This was played less than 3 hours ago.
Or wait, is Bill now a Russian bot?
Love this version.

Perfect holiday fare. Happy Thanksgiving Billbecca and RP Family.
Can I just ask, why does nobody ask this question about Joni Mitchell?
'Blue' comes to mind, and if you don't get the reference, that would explain the question.
How often does a cover of an original by the original artist come out better than the original?
Can I just ask, why does nobody ask this question about Joni Mitchell?
excellent question ! That's an artist I don't get at all...

In case you're still in doubt: Yes.
If a "bad song" gets "ruined" does it become a 'good' song?
Good point, how about a horrible song done differently, but is still horrible. Am I the only one that can't stand Annie Lennox's voice?

You and Mohamed are the only ones - certainly!
The answer is YES!
Promise Annie: "I kiss you like lovers do".
This and more!
yes
I'd listen to this again
yes
Hot .. in every way.
Yes, agreed.
Great song and unique delivery
oh, yeah... but it's so artistic! { throws up in mouth just a little bit }

Wait a second......if there was no original, how can there be an "acoustic" version ? curisous
me too. Nice variation on the original.
i hate this song, but she's got a hell of a voice!
what's with the folks in TX?
I looked through all the comments and found only one other negative comment about this song from someone in Texas, and it was pretty mild. On the other hand, there are quite a few negative comments made by people from all over. So I gotta ask, what's with you're bigoted view of Texans?
And just to be clear, I am originally from Chicago.
This self-congratulatory bit of vomitus is just regurgitated crap.
Just switched back to Xmas in Frisco for another remix of "Drummer Boy"
Please dont be offended but you think too much, just like you write too much - it's beautiful - feel it don't analyse it :-)
I've never before been accused of thinking too much!

And I still don't care for this song. Annie Lennox has an extensive repertoir that deserves to be explored. As does Dave Stewart.
what's with the folks in TX?
We love broad generalizations.
I'm down with this version too. It strips it down to its essence and shows that it's a wonderful song even without fancy synth lines and shoo-bop shoo-bops...
Now - having ripped on Lennox, let's rip on Dave Stewart. The man's a twisted, savvy genius with talent oozing from his pores (uh, figuratively speaking.) But "Here Comes the Rain Again" is just a dismal representation of the magic he and Lennox had. I always hope never to hear this song on the radio again, but it keeps appearing, like Peeves (to those who aren't familiar with the Harry Potter books, Peeves is an obnoxious, uncontrollable poltergeist that shows up at the worst possible times, performs irritating, destructive acts, and then disappears until the next time - much like this song.)

This really doesn't live up to it.
'cause it does, it's just different live :-)

We're surrounded by too many right-wingers. I like this version.
Annie Lenock. You rox!
