Either KT is emulating Norah Jones, or vice versa. In many ways they are indistinguishable. They are good, but I am rather indifferent to them. Nothing happening here, keep moving.
To me KT is several orders of magnitude more interesting that Norah Jones, the appeal of whom has always escaped me.

Time to get that banana out of your ears
...wow - the opening of this track is sublime!..
edit: ...unless i'm confusing it with the closing of mat kearney's city of black & white, in which case, that's an exceptionally well-played segue...
BillG is king of the segue!
Nope, Seasick Steve.

Not just your internet connection… seems the end of track trigger signal appears soon after the synth solo.
I disagree, I'm afraid. This is a highly polished and commercial album, and pretty good (I'll be shelling out on it), but I miss the wee lassie from Fife with her guitar and belting voice. Her first 2 CDs were terrific. There's a bit too much polish and production on this CD for my liking, as a fan of KT. Still, I hope it brings her success as she is a very good singer/songwriter, and Fife's best cultural export since Ian Rankin and King Creosote (a mate of hers, btw). 7 from the Nottingham jury.
I'm in agreement with you on this. I do like, but not as much as earlier stuff.

don't you think so?
commercial radio? hm...
seems to me like you are sponsored by KT Tunstall...
lets face it, she isn't janis joplin....
Thank goodness for that. One Janis Joplin was more than enough.
yes, great stuff

Seasick Steve!
Bill, two tracks with KT on in the space of 30 minutes! You're spoiling us...
because it's not used enough ;-)

Nice voice, sounds a little like Jill Barber.
Eh, not so much for me. I've seen both of these ladies live in the last few months. Jill Barber was in a small venue (200 max) and KT Tunstall was with Sean Colvin in a mid-size house (1200 or so). Both great shows.
