Will you do production printing on it, or just proofs and stuff? I'll use this one to crank out some commercial printing, which we'd stopped doing so much of since the old printer was giving us fits. So I'm gonna shoot to pay this one off in a year. Or two. We don't do much anymore.

just proofs mostly. and in-house newsletter type printing. the printer part is a bonus. we really didn't need that. we have a tabloid laser printer. we needed a copier, scanner and fax. so they got this.

I should have asked for that.

edit: I only saw the MSRP on the invoice. We got it for around $5000, which is what they go for in the real world, so hey.

Well it took most of the day but that sumbitch is Mac compatible now, and if the copier company has any more Mac customers, I'll let them know my consulting rates.

It's actually a pretty cool printer/scanner, now that I'm getting to know it...

In the summer for sure.
This time of year looking at all the license plates on the cars...  it's South Pacific Northwest, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin and any other place where they actually get winter.
